About me

Across mediums.

I’m Omar Tarawneh, a Jordanian interdisciplinary artist based in Frankfurt. I work at the intersection of light, sound, image and movement.

I am a collaborator at Higgs Boutique.

My work moves between installation, scenography, interactive media, music and performance. Using TouchDesigner, LED systems and body tracking, I create environments for theatre, dance and live encounters.

Translation is a recurring thread: from poetry to sound, movement to light, and human intention to a responsive system. My research develops through making, writing, experimentation and collaboration.

Current explorations

A scenic installation translating nine poems into performer presence, narration, sound, video, light, objects and spatial experience.

Sound & collaboration

Electronic music producer and partner at Talpa Rec. Founder of B.bahn Music, which hosted bi-weekly events in Frankfurt from 2021 to 2023.
