Photography, projection and live sound reinterpreted the architecture of Landgrafenschloss.
Created for the Klein Rittersaal in 2023, the installation transformed details of the castle into moving images. Photographs of ornaments, surfaces and geometries became projections that responded to the architecture they came from.
Electronic music shaped their rhythm and transformation, making the room a place to pause within a changing conversation between the historic building and contemporary image-making.
The visual system is designed as an audio-reactive environment: electronic music and electro beats directly influence animation parameters such as rhythm, intensity, and transformation. Sound becomes a structural driver, allowing each session to evolve dynamically rather than repeat as a fixed loop.
The Chillout Lounge offers visitors a calm yet stimulating atmosphere — a place to pause, observe, and drift inside a dialogue between heritage and contemporary media art. The setup includes DJ performance, sound system, projection technology, and custom programming for the real-time audio-reactive sequences, creating a continuously responsive audiovisual space.
