Re-opening the circle

Performance · 2026

A seven-day performance lab questioned established habits through physical practice, improvisation and collective composition.

Hosted at Umerigu, Re-opening the circle created space for artists to reconsider familiar ways of working. Physical training, guided improvisation and group composition allowed individual practices to enter a shared process.

The lab concluded with a performance developed from the week’s material. I took part as a performer and was responsible for sound and technical direction.
